Although there are a large number of archives using Ex Libris products, it is sometimes difficult to achieve the functionality needed by archivists to manage their collections. The Archivists interest group was formed in order to share information, ideas, and strategies about how to effectively use Ex Libris products in an archival environment. Discussion questions can include linking to finding aids and digitized materials, indexing strategies, dealing with large collections and series, multi-format collections, and suggestions for product enhancements needed by archivists.
