The Voyager Music Users Group (VMUG) promotes information sharing regarding the Voyager ILS, as well as other Ex-Libris products and services, particularly as pertains to music, music users, music libraries, and libraries with music holdings. More specifically, VMUG provides a forum for airing concerns, educating one another, exchanging information, and proposing formal product enhancements that serve the needs of music users. Interest tends to focus on Voyager (WebVoyage, circulation, acquisitions, and cataloging), but increasingly includes other Ex-Libris products. VMUG meets annually at the Music Library Association meeting. Our last meeting was held on March 2, 2007 at the Hilton in Pittsburgh, PA, and was attended by 28 people. The focus of our last meeting was the Francisco Partners' acquisition of Endeavor. We are currently updating our list of Voyager music libraries and preparing enhancement requests.
