Access Services Librarian

The University of North Carolina School of the Arts Library and Learning Commons invites applications for our Access Services Librarian position.

Reporting to the University Librarian, the Access Services Librarian will manage the Access Services Department for the UNCSA Library and Learning Commons which includes circulation activities, patron account creation and maintenance, billing processes, non-music interlibrary loan requests, non-music course reserves requests, circulating technology, printing and scanning services, general collection stack maintenance, and the collection and analysis of statistics for the department. This individual will hire, advocate for, train, schedule, and supervise federal work study students and part-time employees involved circulation activity and coordinate graduate assistants working in the MakerSpace. They will also ensure proper wayfinding in the building through signage (both physical and digital) and regular updating of the library website and LibGuides. This position also oversees building hours in library calendars and systems and assists with coordinating special events in the library.

Full-time. On-site. Some evening and weekend work required.

Minimum qualifications:

American Library Association accredited Masters degree in Library Science.

Minimum salary:

$50,000
