The ELUNA Verde Product Group (PG) is seeking three new members. The PG operates under the auspices of the ELUNA Steering Committee and is charged with providing feedback concerning product development, organizing the Verde Product track at the annual meeting, communicating product information to Verde customers and advocating for ELUNA Verde users with Ex Libris. Candidates must work at an ELUNA member institution which licenses Verde. The time commitment typically is less than two hours per month, usually in the form of conference calls. The new members will be seated at the ELUNA Conference in May, but attendance at the Conference is not required.
The group is comprised of seven members but to lend continuity to our processes, a vice-chair/chair elect is selected from the existing members. This person will serve for one year as vice chair, followed by a year of service as chair. The vice-chair is elected at the ELUNA conference.
If you wish to submit your name for consideration for membership, please send it and a brief biography (institution affiliation, Verde experience, etc.) to Heather Tunender, Verde PG chair (<mailto:[email protected]>[email protected]) by Friday, April 23, 2010. Please indicate if you are interested in the vice chair position. If there are more candidates than the number of positions, an election will be held during the Verde PG meeting at the upcoming ELUNA conference (Verde PG meeting is Thursday 1-2 p.m.)
It is important for us to maintain a strong voice regarding Verde issues. Please consider nominating yourself or someone else who has the ability and willingness to serve! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or any of the continuing members of the Verde PG:
