2025 Sherrie Kristin Scholarship Awardee

Picture of Jennifer MoThis year, ELUNA awards Jennifer Mo the Sherrie Kristin Memorial Scholarship. The award provides recipients with complimentary registration and accommodation to the annual conference.  It is always a competitive award, with many nominations submitted each year.

The ELUNA Steering Committee honors the memory and the many contributions of the late Sherrie Kristin with an annual ELUNA conference scholarship in her name. Sherrie contributed decades of service to the EndUser and ELUNA user groups, serving as a Regional User Group leader, a Product Working Group Chair, and a Steering Committee member. Of particular note was her dedicated work to ensure the success of ELUNA events.  Sherrie contributed untold hours and energy toward planning and organizational tasks because she believed the knowledge gained and peer networks built through the EndUser and ELUNA communities directly contributed to individual and institutional success.

The 2025 winner is Jennifer Mo, the Systems Librarian at Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries, where she plays a key role in managing Alma/Primo VE configurations, optimizing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and supporting staff. She has experience with Alma and Primo/VE administration. The committee felt she was the best candidate for the Sherrie Kristin Scholarship because of her commitment to the library community. Her reference letter noted, “The conference will offer insights on best practices, workflow optimization, and system enhancements. This will enable our libraries to benefit from the collective knowledge of the Ex Libris community.”   She also notes that it will benefit the Toronto Metropolitan libraries and  “greatly benefit… the broader university community.” Jennifer is committed to professional growth and community engagement and looks forward to attending ELUNA Conference 2025!

Jennifer will receive a certificate during Wednesday morning opening ceremonies at ELUNA 2025, June 18, 2025, Atlanta, GA.  Come join us!
