The Public User Interface Special Interest Group was formed in 2006, a mailing list was created, and it met for the first time at the 2nd ELUNA meeting (notes will be posted at the conference web site). The group was an outgrowth of an unofficial ALEPH OPAC interest group and discusses issues related to web catalogs and interfaces, including new resource discovery tools such as Primo. Recently, the Voyager OPAC SIG was merged with this group.
