Reporting to the Associate Vice Provost for University Libraries & Strategic Program Development, the Head of Access Services manages and provides direction for both the O’Shaughnessy-Frey and Keffer Libraries’ Access Services Departments. The Head oversees staff and student employees and departmental functions including circulation, course reserves, resource sharing and interlibrary loan services, fulfillment assessment, stack maintenance, and related technological advancement. Additionally, the Head serves as a media librarian, responsible for managing the physical and streaming media collections. The media librarian ensures timely access to media collections as well as selects, acquires, and deselects materials in collaboration with liaison librarians and specialists. This position is part of the composition of the Libraries’ Management Team.
