Ex Libris Products: Alma and Primo VE
With extensive experience across multiple academic libraries using Alma and Primo, I am dedicated to advancing library services by enhancing discovery experiences and optimizing back-office workflows. In my current role as a Programmer Analyst IV at the University of Southern California (USC) Libraries, I focus on improving patrons’ search experiences. I also develop integrations between Alma and University’s enterprise systems, including student information systems (SIS) and financial platforms, to support seamless interoperability and operational efficiency.
Driven by a strong commitment to accessibility, I have led initiatives aimed accessibility for all. I have organized webinars and facilitating knowledge-sharing opportunities to promote best practices and collaboration across the library and academic communities.
As an active participant in Ex Libris early adopter programs, I contribute feedback during product development cycles, helping to shape future enhancements that serve the broader library community. I also stay closely engaged with emerging trends in librarianship, especially the potential of AI and other technologies. I advocate for responsible innovation and foster experimentation and dialogue around these tools to benefit diverse communities.
