The Rialto Working Group will be meeting with ELUNA leadership this month to discuss separating the joint working group into ELUNA and IGeLU groups. This change should facilitate better meeting times for both groups and allow for easier recruitment of new members.
Rialto product managers have provided the development points assigned to this year’s CERV enhancement requests. The Working Group is discussing options for development based on the number of votes each enhancement received as well as the total points available for development. This year we have 45 points available.
In product news, some libraries have reported struggling with Brown/VLEbook licensing change requests. Libraries facing issues are encouraged to reach out to the Working Group, which can pass the information along to product managers. Clarivate has a global team that works with providers, especially new providers like Browns, to help them understand the requirements of their international customers.
The Rialto Referral Model is debuting this month. Libraries will need to establish a relationship with providers, like Browns, on their own to make use of the model within the Rialto platform. Several webinars with more information have been announced on the Rialto listserv, and libraries wanting more information can view those recordings.
