The ELUNA Alma Digital Working Group began meeting in June 2024 following its first User
Group meeting at ELUNA. Since that time, the Working Group collaborated with its IGeLU
counterparts to generate a list of issues and priorities related to discovery of digital resources for
the Ex Libris team working on the New Discovery Experience (NDE). The Working Group is in
the process of identifying existing items in Idea Exchange related to Alma Digital and developing
a process for future enhancements cycles for the product. The Working Group is currently
creating a survey to send to Alma Digital users to better understand user needs and context,
existing pain points, and goals for future developments. This survey aims to gather diverse
feedback from a broad range of institutions and users. The collected data will guide the Working
Group in prioritizing future efforts and will enable us to more effectively advocate for the most
pressing user needs.
