The NYU Law Library is seeking a Systems & Technology Librarian to manage and advance our library technology infrastructure.
The successful candidate will oversee core library systems—including Alma/Primo, Jira, and Springshare—and collaborate with faculty, students, and staff to ensure seamless access to resources. Additionally, this role offers opportunities to explore and implement emerging technologies, such as machine learning and AI integrations, within the library ecosystem.
Qualifications & Scope: We welcome applications from candidates with a strong foundational knowledge of library systems. While expertise in every specific tool is not required on day one, the ideal candidate should have:
- Experience with Alma/Primo or similar library service platforms.
- Familiarity with basic coding/scripting and other standard library systems.
- A strong interest in professional growth and adapting to new technologies.
