Meescan Self Checkout. Michael Krochter, Manager, Customer Success, Meescan; Amar Bains, Solutions Specialist, Meescan.

Meescan is a self-checkout service with kiosks and a smartphone app that’s simple for libraries to install and effortless for patrons to use. It allows librarians to get on with what they do best: organizing the library’s database, reaching out to their local community, helping people track down information, and engaging with patrons.

Library Open Workflows: End-to-End Guide. Shai Ben-Hur, Vice President of Product Engineering, Clarivate.

Library Open Workflows (LibOW), part of the Clarivate Alma platform, is a no-code tool that helps libraries automate and streamline processes without requiring deep technical expertise. With a visual drag-and-drop builder, staff can connect Alma APIs, configure triggers and actions, and design efficient workflows that save time and reduce errors. Developed in close collaboration with the library community, LibOW enables everything from simple notifications to multi-step integrations. This session will feature a live demonstration of building workflows in real time.

Practical Applications of Library Open Workflows. Jim Nicholls, Senior Digital Services Specialist, The University of Sydney.

I walk through some real-world problems solved using Library Open Workflows. Along the way I demonstrate ways Library Open Workflows can integrate into your business processes, ways Library Open Workflows can be created with little to no code, and ways Library Open Workflows can be supported without IT.
