  1. Why are the conferences now being held in May? May is a bad month to have to be away from family and work for graduations, end-of-year activities, Mother’s Day, etc.

I suspect this may be my last ELUNA conference if they continue to be held in May, and the only reason I’m attending this year is because it’s in my hometown and I can leave the conference to attend graduation. April was a much better month to be away.

I suppose it’s just as well… There’s very little Voyager-related at the conferences anyway.

  2. Hi Jim, I will bring up your concerns to the Steering Committee. Unfortunately ever date is a problem for someone, but maybe a different time of the year, such as April as you suggest would be better. You may want to bring it up at the ELUNA Business Meeting at 8:30-9:30 AM on Wednesday, 12 May 2010, time permitting.

  3. Having the conference on Mother’s Day really is an inconvenience and will make it very difficult to attend on a regular basis.

  4. Hi Amy, I forwarded your comment to the rest of the steering committee. While Mother’s Day may not be a huge holiday throughout the USA, I am aware that it is a very important day in some areas. … Edward
