Call for New Members of the PWG!
The ELUNA Esploro Product Working Group is seeking a few additional members, to start after the annual meeting (June 2025). Any Esploro customer from an ELUNA member institution may apply. We are interested not only in people with extensive Esploro experience, but also those representing a variety of positions and institution types. Please email Wendy Robertson ([email protected]) with your interest by 5 May, including information about your experience with Esploro or other institutional repositories and the type of institution you are in, and why you are interested in the group. The group currently meets once a month, via Zoom. Terms are for two years.
Enhancement Updates
Four of the five 2024 enhancements have been completed. The final one, Improve deposit forms, will be completed soon (this summer). You can see all our accepted and delivered enhancements in CERV (currently only 2024)
The 2025 enhancement vote is now underway. You can see the 27 enhancement requests in CERV. Voting ends at the end of 6 May GMT.
While not enhancements, don’t forget to vote for ideas in Idea Exchange. You can add comments to the Ideas as well to help shape them.
ELUNA Conference
If you will be attending ELUNA in Atlanta this June, be sure to come to the Esploro Product Conversation and Product Working Group Meeting on 19 June – Part 1 11:15 (Ex Libris) and Part 2 12:15 (PWG)
Other Activities
We are working with Ex Libris to schedule a webinar (to be recorded) on Cloud Apps, such as adding thesis advising as activities to faculty members using ETD records. We expect this session will be announced soon.
We also plan to have a community discussion on shared dashboards, so that we can better share searches we have made for identifying issues, cleaning up metadata, and statistics. If you have a good dashboard that other institutions would benefit from seeing, we would love to see them. Please email anyone on the PWG if you have ideas.
