The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for Coordinator/Analyst, Library Discovery & E-Resources. This Administrative Faculty position plays a crucial role in providing online user access to Library materials, including the maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic resource holdings and access, supporting online access and virtual user experience, monitoring and troubleshooting integrations with the Alma Library Services Platform (LSP), gathering usage statistics and evaluating the accessibility of e-resources. This position reports to the Specialist, Library Discovery & E-Resources.

Incumbents may be hired at either the Coordinator or Analyst, Library Discovery & E-Resources level based on experience and qualifications. Those hired as a Coordinator, Library Discovery & E-Resources may advance to the Analyst level upon meeting the minimum qualifications, with satisfactory performance, with the approval of the appointing authority, and contingent on funding availability.

Coordinator, Library Discovery & E-Resources:
The Coordinator is expected to have in-depth knowledge of the platforms and software used to support discovery of library resources, including the Alma library services platform (LSP). The Coordinator will work independently to support the development and monitoring of e-resource workflows, in collaboration with others in the Collections & Discovery unit. The position will assist with maintaining and troubleshooting integration profiles and monitoring scheduled jobs that run in Alma. The Coordinator will communicate promptly and professionally with library users, OIT, and vendor support to troubleshoot online access issues.

Analyst, Library Discovery & E-Resources:
The Analyst is expected to have advanced knowledge of all platforms and software used to support access and discovery of library resources, including the Alma library services platform (LSP). The Analyst is expected to work independently and perform advanced work in co-developing e-resource workflows in collaboration with other library units. The position will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting integration profiles and monitoring scheduled jobs that run in Alma. The Analyst will be responsible for communication with library users, OIT, and vendor support to troubleshoot online access issues. The incumbent will be responsible for troubleshooting and customizing the Primo VE discovery interface, and will handle implementation of new features and suggest solutions to improve usability.
