I have worked with Ex Libris products since 2012 and attended my first ELUNA in Athens, GA, in 2013. I made many friends at that conference (and subsequent ones!) and those relationships still thrive today. It’s one of the reasons I love being a part of and attending ELUNA so much — the camaraderie, conviviality, and librarians’ willingness to share their ideas and solutions!
With a formal background in print graphic design, I transferred those skills to web design and have been designing higher education and library websites since 2000. After receiving my MLIS in 2012, I have worked in libraries in a multitude of roles including: Project Manager, Discovery & User Experience Librarian, Web Services Librarian, Web Accessibility and Emerging Technologies Librarian, and currently serve as the Head of Systems Development at Old Dominion University. My interests include web design, user experience, and accessibility.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, gardening, thrifting, and hanging out with my Kokoni.
