The ELUNA Consortia Systems SIG provides an opportunity for Ex Libris customers that operate as consortia, and/or in shared server environments, to meet and discuss issues that are specifically of interest to multi-institution implementations of any Ex Libris product. The group meets annually at the ELUNA conference.
At the May 2010 ELUNA conference in Fort Worth, attendees representing more than 10 different consortia discussed the URM Consortia Focus Group and our different models of cooperation. We decided to contact the IGeLU Consortia SIG to learn more about the KU Leuven consortium that is a URM development partner as we think that knowing more about how KU Leuven operates will help us all to know what aspects of the URM they will be testing in a shared environment. Subsequently, this topic was part of the agenda for the IGeLU Consortium SIG meeting in Ghent Belgium in August 2010.
The ELUNA Consortia Systems SIG will next meet at ELUNA 2011.
