The NIST Research Library and Museum is hiring for an IT Specialist (System Admin) for ALMA. Other duties include administering all aspects of other library systems and optimizing functionality with other agency platforms.
Duties: Administer all technical aspects of system administration, database administration, security, and interface administration of library (ALMA) and agency cloud-based systems.
– Serve as technical expert and administrator for custom developed applications and workflows.
– Serve as project manager for continuous iterative process improvements around design, implementation, and testing to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
– Work closely with NIST service providers and library staff to actively communicate, develop human relations, encourage team building, and work in a shared decision-making environment.
