Integrated Library Systems Specialist

Rod Library is seeking a collaborative and detail oriented individual to join our Content Discovery team. As the Integrated Library System specialist, this person will provide leadership and develop expertise in managing our integrated library system, optimizing our system to provide an excellent user experience. Impact & Responsibilities: Manages the Integrated Library System (ILS) and serves as library’s Ex Libris specialist; works with appropriate staff to recommend and implement procedures, configurations, and workflows for effective and efficient use of and interoperability between the ILS’ Alma repository and the PrimoVE discovery layer to provide a positive user experience; manages and oversees the Alma repository in support of cataloging and metadata operations; serves as coordinator of the Ex Libris Management Group and its three sub-groups, supporting the activities of the group in meeting its charge; and provides leadership in the use of Ex Libris Analytics to improve workflows, documentation, quality, and efficiency of work and to inform the management of enhancements.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; at least three years of combined library technical and/or metadata/cataloging experience.

Preferred: Experience with Ex Libris integrated library system.
